What flavour cakes can I order?
All our cakes are made to order so if you have a favourite flavour let us know. Popular choices are chocolate mud cake, white chocolate, caramel mud cake, orange butter cake and, of course, traditional fruit cake to name just a few. We also make a delicious gluten free chocolate cake.

Can I order a cake not shown on this website?
Yes, you can order cakes not shown on this website. Bring any ideas or pictures or photos you may have and we will create the cake for you.

Can my cake be delivered?
We prefer to see the wedding cake to the venue on the day to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, but collection can be arranged if you wish.

Where do you deliver cakes to in Tasmania?
The A Piece of Cake kitchen is located in Margate, Tasmania and we deliver directly to Hobart, and surrounding areas. Alternatively cakes can be made ready for collection a day or two before if you prefer.

What payment methods are available?
The payment options we offer are cash, cheque, money order, credit card, direct debit, direct deposit for your convenience.

How much notice is required for cake orders?
For wedding cakes it is never too early to secure your date as spaces fill quickly especially between the months of October to May. For all other cakes as much notice as possible is appreciated.

What wedding cake portion size should I order for my guests?
If the guests at your wedding have had a three course meal then they will only need a slither of cake for a taste. But if you are serving the wedding cake as dessert then larger slices will be required.

Do you make wedding bonbonniere?
Yes we make handmade truffles which you can box or bag up and even tie a name tag to, to use as a place setting as well.
